Out of sheer frustration just before my TYBA exams, my heart vented out these words.

Spent nocturnal dates - JJ with Ondaatje,
                                    Rose with Victorian Prose,
                                    Yuvi with Romantic Poetry,

Have travelled from the Elizabethan to the Postcolonial Age,

Halted at various stages of Literature,

Cultivated new perspectives,

And, of course, widened our horizons!

     But yaar ek break to maar!
     Exams ki kya zarurat hai?
     Daravni Prelims ki surat hai!
     Assignments se hai hamari asli pehchaan,
     Marks ke liye na lo hamari jaan!
